My Grandma Passes on
This is the last picture I ever took of my grandmother. She passed away last night around 7 o'clock. She lived a long 93 years and died respectably of old age. I will miss her greatly and always respect the things she taught me as a young boy. How to cook, sew, and tend to the garden.These are all things I continue to improve upon and I hope to pass on to future generations of the Williams Clan.

Sabbatical
I qualified for my Sabbatical at Macromedia a few months ago and I have started to really consider what I am going to do. I plan on taking 2 months off and do some traveling initially. So far Spain and France are on the list. I still have a lot of thinking and concrete planning to do.

@ work 9am
For some people getting to work at 9am consistantly is the norm. Not for me. Over the past 8 months I have been dragging my sorry ass into work between 10am and Noon. This not only made me feel guilty I wasn’t able to accomplish much at work. I was tired from sleeping in late, and generally in a malaise. For the past week or so I have been waking up promptly at 7am and getting into work around 9am. It feels great. My work is getting done and leaving at a normal time is no longer a guilty pleasure. Here’s to accomplishment!

This weekend I will be in the Nevada desert helping out with a project to commerate the 60th anniversary of the first atomic blast. I will be taking lots of pictures, and I promise to post them here from my Flickr account.
