Meme's
For those that don't quite follow my previous post. It is an example of a "meme". A small idea that spreads through social groups that can reveal something about our surroundings. I found this meme interesting since it takes a small bit of the words and ideas that surround us and makes it something for people to look at and think abount. LINK

Someone told me to...
1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 23.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.
From a book called "Diet for a Small Planet" (ISBN: 0-345-32120-0) by Frances Moore Lappe:
"She didn't change a word I had written."

If I could turn back time
When something goes wrong in a dream you can either revel in that pain or you can turn back time and try it again. For example... That time someone who you wanted to talk to at the bar moved your glass down to the end of the bar so their "real" friend could sit next to them and not you. Try it again but this time you can throw your drink in their face to show them how that made you feel.

What you make it
Dreams end up being about the things you put out of your mind. I heard that recently and it really makes sense. I am constantly having dreams about people who I really would rather not think about, but when I dream about them it's like things never went wrong. Feeling good about people who don't feel good about you in Real Life is painful.

Bad Mojo
So the last few days have been a little strange. First their was a shooting across the street from the office and a man was killed trying to back up into a motorcycle cop who was persuing him:
KCBS Story
This morning the bathroom shower started to fall apart (it was always kinda falling apart) and Tanya had her car valdalized. Then I am woken up this morning by the beeping of my emergency power supply telling me that the power is out. It was still out in my neighborhood when I left this morning.... Wacky shit is going down in the cosmological hood.
